The original Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act came into force in 1980, and the supporting Regulations in 1985. The TDG Act was revised in 1992, and remains in effect today. The Regulations have now been completely rewritten in a version referred to as the Clear Language Version. The revised Clear Language Version Regulations came into effect on August 15, 2002. This website provides an introduction and access to the interactive online training course, "Transporting Dangerous Goods by Truck" The course is based on the revised Clear Language Version Regulations. "Transporting Dangerous Goods by Truck" has been developed in partnership with the Canadian Trucking Alliance.
